According to reports from Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 28-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after he tried to take clothing items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

An unknown man took $200 in merchandise without paying from a convenience store on Whiskey Road on Wednesday.

A burglary was reported at a home on Charleston Street on Wednesday. The owner reported a television, a video game console and a tablet missing.

An air conditioner unit was reported missing from a home on Taylor Street on Wednesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Richland Avenue.

According to reports from Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone has been video recording his family through a bathroom window in their home. The man showed officers scratches on the outside of the window where he said the camera was.

A burglary was reported at a home on Oakwood Drive in Aiken on Wednesday. The owner reported a television, miscellaneous papers and ammo missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Wednesday on Joes Park Road in Warrenville and Diamond Drive in Beech Island.

An air conditioner unit was reported missing from Old Camp Long Road in Aiken.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Amos Court in North Augusta on Wednesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Williston Road in New Ellenton on Wednesday.
