Freddie Storey
BATH, S.C. – Mr. Freddie Storey, 93, husband of the late Dorothy McCullough Storey, entered into rest on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Edward “Duck” and Pashie Franklin Storey. A World War II Veteran, he proudly served his country in both the United States Army and Navy. He retired from United Merchants, where he was a Loom Fixer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include sons, Danny O. Storey, Warrenville, SC and the late Eddie I. Storey; daughters, Jacklyn “Sunny” (Roger) Brantley, Springfield, SC and the late Belinda Swartzlander, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service with Veterans Honors rendered by a United States Navy Honor Guard will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014, at 2 o’clock in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. It has been asked that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) Friends will be greeted by the family on Wednesday from 1 until 1:45 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
