Freddie Storey
BATH, S.C. – Mr. Freddie Storey, 93, husband of the late Dorothy McCullough Storey, entered into rest on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Edward “Duck” and Pashie Franklin Storey. A World War II Veteran, he proudly served his country in both the United States Army and Navy. He retired from United Merchants, where he was a Loom Fixer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include sons, Danny O. Storey, Warrenville, SC and the late Eddie I. Storey; daughters, Jacklyn “Sunny” (Roger) Brantley, Springfield, SC and the late Belinda Swartzlander, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service with Veterans Honors rendered by a United States Navy Honor Guard will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014, at 2 o’clock in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. It has been asked that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. ( Friends will be greeted by the family on Wednesday from 1 until 1:45 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
