According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 22-year-old Windsor woman was detained on warrants out of Columbia after police were called to a store on Richland Avenue where she was in the bathroom, yelling, after a dispute with her boyfriend.
A 71-year-old Aiken man was placed on trespass notice for a store on York Street on Tuesday after he threw a gallon of milk on the floor because the store wouldn’t allow him to exchange it.
A 21-year-old Hephzibah, Ga., man was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after he tried to take clothing and incense from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Ligon Avenue on Tuesday. The owner reported that someone gained access to the pickup’s truck bed and took 60 tires.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Cherry Drive on Tuesday.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A Warrenville woman reported her cellphone stolen on Wednesday after allowing someone to use it. The female suspect came to the victim’s home and asked to use her cellphone; the victim, thinking it was an emergency, allowed her to. When she returned to the room, the suspect had fled with the phone.
A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday at a store on Jefferson Davis Highway. Prescription medication was reported missing.
