Remember the Edisto

We lost the ivory billed woodpecker after we lost the Carolina parakeet. I don’t want to say “remember the Edisto.” Our long, black river the Edisto.

Hanky-panky

I agree that the School Board is asking for millions when it gave away millions for a baseball stadium. There’s some hanky-panky going on.

Poor leadership

Some of our higher-ups, like the mayor, are responsible for the roads like Pine Log. All they have to do is look at the list of roads approved for paving and see what hasn’t been done. The mayor is pushing to widen the bypass when there are so many roads that need to be paved. He’s directly responsible and poor leadership on his part.

Watch me

I don’t have to creep around. I used to be able to go out on my porch, until my neighbors sprayed my fence to create a crack to watch me through.

Killing horses

What about the vet that killed so many horses with his invention “Carolina gold?”

Let it go

The anti-Project Jackson folks just won’t let it go. The school District will gain $246,000 a years with the start of the Project.

Enjoy it

We enjoyed the recent Bluegrass Jam at the Train Depot on Park Avenue this past Saturday.

Hoopla

What is all this hoopla about doing a survey to see how many servers can be discharged?

Just alike

I would say you both are driving just alike if you’re chasing down someone who pulled out in front of you. Isn’t that called road rage? Is that legal?

That interesting

Are you that interesting that you think your neighbors are watching you? Or maybe you’re just that attractive.

Glowing reports

I recently attended the City Council meeting with public safety officers giving glowing reports on their offices. I was taken aback. This was like a fox giving a report on the chickens.

Like Wyatt Earp

There are a whole lot of people out here who are snapping and have guns. They have more guns than the police. The government is giving them the rights to carry these guns. The government should give everyone a gun and we’ll walk around like in Wyatt Earp’s day.

Peeping Tom

How can someone get away with being a peeping Tom and looking through somebody’s window? I have people looking through my window and I’m fed up with it.
