According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An unknown man took about $20 from a tip jar in a restaurant on Whiskey Road on Monday.
A Greenwood woman on Tuesday reported damage to her vehicle. She found a long scratch on a door after shopping in a store on Fabian Drive.
An unknown man used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase items at a restaurant on Whiskey Road. Initial tests indicated the bill was real, but it was later determined to be counterfeit.
A 21-year-old Aiken woman was detained for criminal domestic violence on Tuesday after throwing a cellphone at her boyfriend, striking him in the face.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Whiskey Road on Tuesday. The vehicle had been forcibly entered, but nothing was reported missing.
An additional vehicle break-in was reported on York Street on Tuesday. The windshield was broken and the console had been rummaged through. The word “blood” was reportedly carved into a passenger door.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:
A gas drive-off was reported Tuesday at a gas station on Edgefield Highway. An unknown suspect allegedly pumped $46 in gas before fleeing.
An unknown juvenile shoplifted several items from a convenience store on Pine Log Road in Beech Island on Tuesday.
A Warrenville woman on Tuesday reported that someone shot out the street light in front of her Hilltop Road home.
A burglary was reported on Edgefield Highway in Aiken on Tuesday. The owner reporter a television, clothing, money, jewelry and cellphones missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Kalmia Apartments Lane in Graniteville and Toolebeck Road in Aiken.
