According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 29-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Saturday after he was pulled over on Whiskey Road for drifting in his lane of travel. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and failed multiple field sobriety tests. He refused a breath test.

A burglary was reported on Wednesday at a home on Shady Lane. The owner reported a trunk of personal documents and antiques and a television converter box missing.

A vehicle was reported stolen Wednesday from Linden Street.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 59-year-old Graniteville man who reported trespassing on Wednesday believes an unknown person has been sleeping in the shed behind his home on Glass House Road. The homeowner said he found a chair wrapped in insulation and an empty beer can in the shed.

A Beech Island woman reported vandalism on Wednesday after finding that someone scratched obscenities into the hood and side of her vehicle on Atomic Road.

An Aiken man reported a bicycle and an air conditioner unit missing from his home on Mistyland Loop on Wednesday.

A 51-year-old North Augusta woman reported fraud on Wednesday after learning that her Social Security check never arrived in the mail but had been cashed in Mississippi.

A burglary was reported on Mark Anthony Drive in Aiken on Wednesday. Electronics were reported stolen.

An additional burglary was reported on Reynolds Pond Road in Aiken on Wednesday. Money and a wallet were reported missing.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Townsend Street in Warrenville on Wednesday.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Dunbar Street in Warrenville on Wednesday. The door was left unlocked.
