Choir members sought for King celebration

A Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration is seeking volunteers to take part in a choir for the event, scheduled at the USC Aiken Convocation Center on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m.

The choir will be directed by a prominent gospel singer and director, Sam Dennis of Abundant Life Fellowship in Camden.

Rehearsals will be held on Friday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan, 25, at 11 a.m. on the USCA campus.

The choir will perform three selections at the celebration. Participation is open to any volunteer.

Those interested in taking part may email Ahmed Samaha at ahmeds@usca.edu. Include names and contact information. Plan on attending both rehearsals and the performance.
