According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 55-year-old Columbia man and a 45-year-old Aiken woman were detained for trespassing on Tuesday after they were found sleeping in a bed in a vacant home on Horry Street.

A 38-year-old North Augusta man was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after creating a disturbance in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A 66-year-old Aiken man reported on Thursday that someone tried to open multiple bank accounts in his name.

A 47-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after he tried to take cologne from a store in Aiken Mall without paying.

A burglary was reported on Palm Drive on Wednesday. The owner reported cash and jewelry missing.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An employee of a vehicle repossession company on Thursday reported that an unknown man brandished a long gun and pointed it at him and a co-worker when they tried to repossess a vehicle on Wayne Court in Monetta.

A burglary was reported on Audubon Road in North Augusta on Thursday. The owner reported a handgun, a laptop and jewelry missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Womrath Road in North Augusta and Shetland Drive in Jackson.

A North Augusta man reported audio equipment missing from his home on Chestnut Avenue on Thursday.
