According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 47-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Monday after she tried to take beer from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone threw a concrete block through a window of his home on Jehossee Drive.
An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone shattered the windshield of his vehicle on Sabal Drive.
A 17-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take two drink items from a store on Whiskey without paying.
A burglary was reported at a home on Hampton Avenue on Tuesday. The owner reported two televisions, two watches, a ring and a child’s piggy bank missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Edgefield Avenue, Dibble Road, Dillon Avenue and University Parkway.
A 19-year-old Aiken woman reported her purse missing from Aiken Regional Medical Centers on University Parkway. The purse contained a cellphone and financial transaction cards.
Officers responded to an alarm caused by an open door at a restaurant on Whiskey Road on Wednesday.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Congress Drive on Wednesday. The owner reported a purse missing.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
An Augusta man reported on Wednesday that an unknown person tried to steal his vehicle while it was parked and running on Heathwood Drive in Aiken.
A burglary was reported on Remus Drive in Batesburg on Wednesday.
