Aiken County Habitat for Humanity's 2014 Women Build program will hold an informational kickoff meeting on Jan. 7.

Women interested in learning more about the program are invited to attend the meeting 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the South Aiken Presbyterian Church, located at 1711 Whiskey Road.

The program hosts training clinics for women interested in participating in the construction of the next Women Build house, which will begin the first weekend in March.

There will also be free clinics held at the Lowe's of Aiken store on Whiskey Road, beginning Jan. 18 and continuing each Saturday through Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon. Lowe's is a national underwriter for the Habitat Women Build program.

To sign up for the clinic, visit www.habitataiken.org, select the Women Build tab and click on the VolunteerUp button and designate “Women Build” as the team of choice.
