I would like to thank the people who stopped on Nov. 16 when my husband and I were involved in a collision. Almost immediately after the car came to a stop, a young man named Jeff opened the driver’s door and told us that help was on the way. He talked to us calmly until the EMTs arrived. He helped gather our personal items before we were taken to the hospital. We also appreciate the care we received from the EMTs who transported us. They were calm, kind, and competent.
Thank you to the officers who worked the scene and to other people who assisted us. Even though we do not know your names so that we can thank you personally, we hope you see this letter and know that we are most appreciative of your help.
