According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 15-year-old student was detained for simple possession of marijuana after she was found with a leafy, green substance in her book bag at school.
An unknown man and woman took an unknown amount of items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying on Monday.
An unknown woman took a pack of rags from a store on York Street on Monday without paying.
Two unknown men left a restaurant on Aiken Mall Drive without paying their bill on Tuesday.
A burglary was reported at a home on Dillon Avenue on Monday. The owner reported four televisions, a game console, an electronic tablet and a laptop missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on East Rollingwood Road on Tuesday. The owner reported baby clothing, cash and jewelry missing.
Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Greengate Circle on Tuesday.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 31-year-old Warrenville man was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after officers were called to Southern Avenue. The man, who appeared intoxicated, was asked multiple times to remain in the home and go to sleep, but he followed officers out to the roadway.
An Aiken woman reported on Tuesday that someone made multiple unauthorized transactions on her bank card.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Brown Road in Jackson on Monday. The owner reported a shotgun stolen from the unlocked vehicle.
