James Witter Iwert
AIKEN – James Witter Iwert, 78, passed away suddenly Friday, November 15, 2013 in South Dakota where he was doing what he loved, Pheasant Hunting with close friends of many years. He was an avid sportsman, golfer and loved the outdoors. He was born in Cedarburg, Wisc. to the late Carl and Dorothy Iwert. Surviving are his loving wife, Peggy Vaughan Iwert; a son, Jon W. Iwert of North Augusta; 2 sisters, Carlyn Laubenstein of Kokomo, Ind. and Sally Neusteder, of Wisc. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church Building Campaign or The National Wild Turkey Federation. Services will be held Wednesday, November 20th at 2:00 at St. John’s United Methodist Church with a gathering of friends to follow at Woodside Plantation Country Club.
