GLOVERVILLE, S.C. – Mr. Thomas Harden, 76, husband of Mrs. Judy Renshaw Harden, entered into rest on Monday, November 18th, 2013. Born in Jefferson County, GA, and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of his life, he was a son of the late Thomas “T.W.” and Eula “Trick” Sheppard Harden. He retired from the Townsend Division of the Graniteville Company. Following his retirement from Graniteville Company, he went to work with Sizemore Security at various locations but mainly at the Aiken Mall. He was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church and the Gideon’s Sunday School Class. Mr. Harden was also a member of the Horse Creek Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star Queen City Chapter. He was a former Volunteer Firefighter with the Langley Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed small engine repair and spending time at the lake. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include, children, Raleigh (Annette) Harden, Gloverville, SC, Richard (Maria) Harden, Gloverville, SC, Pam Johnson, Columbia, SC, Tracey (Rhonda) Johnson, Canton, GA, Michelle (Ramon) Cruz, Warrenville, SC and Lorie Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Anna Lou (J.W.) Williford, Thomson, GA and Sarah (Donald) Mast, Grovetown, GA and grandchildren, Janet Harden, Melissa Harden, Julian Johnson, Corey Johnson, Travis Johnson, Eric Cruz, Nicole Cruz and Jodi Johnson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2013, at 2 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Rev. Ron Hasty and Rev. Chris Fulmer officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites accorded by Horse Creek Lodge #174, AFM, will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Tony Randall, Julian Johnson, Corey Johnson, Travis Johnson, Eric Cruz and Rodger Mast. Members of the Gideon’s Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. If so desired, memorials may be made to The Family Life Center at Woodridge Baptist Church. Friends are welcome to call at the family residence and will be greeted by the family on (tonight) Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 from 6 until 8 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
