WEDDING: Barnette – Mock

Tiffany Elaine Mock of Aiken, SC and Austin Elliott Barnette of Summerville, SC were married November 16, 2013 on the Palmetto Terrace at the North Augusta Municipal Center. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Reverend John Bolin officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Mock of Aiken, SC and the late Mrs. Elaine Coursey Mock. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Coursey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Embree Mock.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Garry Barnette of Cumming, GA. He is the grandson of Mrs. Doris Covairt and the late Mr. Jaime Rigau and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Barnette.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Derr of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; Carla Fell of Winnsboro, SC, friend of the bride; Ann Marie McGhee of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; and Lisa Mead of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride.

Rusty Oliver of Wando, SC, was the best man. Groomsmen were Duane Asher of Goose Creek, SC, friend of the groom; Garry Barnette Jr. of Cumming, GA, brother of the groom; Britt Gesling of Moncks Corner, SC, friend of the groom; and Jason Peeler of Islandton, SC, friend of the groom.

Flower girls were Noelle Barnette and Caroline Barnette of Cumming, GA, both nieces of the groom.

A reception was held following the ceremony in the Palmetto Terrace Ballroom at the North Augusta Municipal Center. The couple plans to take a honeymoon in 2014.

They will reside in Summerville, SC. The bride is a 2001 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in Communications. She is employed by UPS.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Summerville High School. He is employed with Family Medical Transport as an EMT and is currently in pursuit of his Paramedics license.
