NEW YORK — There will be a strong helping of duck at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – “Duck Dynasty,” that is.

The reality show sensations will be among the celebrities appearing at the annual event in New York City. They’ll join Ariana Grande, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots, Florida Georgia Line, Cirque du Soliel and several other acts on the famous parade floats.

Macy’s says more than 8,000 people will participate in the event, and 3.5 million are expected to watch from the sidelines. That doesn’t count the millions more who watch it on TV.

This year, Snoopy and Woodstock will be among the balloons, as well as Toothless from “How to Train Your Dragon.”
