According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:


An Aiken man reported on Friday that someone threw eggs and a “paint-like substance” on his vehicle parked on Fairway Ridge.


A 25-year-old Roseboro, N.C., man was detained for disorderly conduct on Friday after causing a disturbance in two restaurants on Richland Avenue.


A 29-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Friday after he was pulled over for speeding on South Boundary Avenue.


A 23-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Friday after he was pulled over on Hitchcock Parkway for swerving in his lane and off the roadway.


A 30-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Friday after he was pulled over on Centennial Avenue for speeding.


A 44-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Friday after he was pulled over on Richland Avenue for swerving in his lane. He was also charged with driving under suspension-third offense and operating an uninsured vehicle.


A 23-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after he tried to take an HDMI cable from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.


A vehicle break-in was reported on Richland Avenue on Thursday. The owner reported prescription medications missing.


An additional break-in was reported on Belair Terrace on Wednesday. The owner reported a bookbag and its contents missing.


According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


A 34-year-old North Augusta woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she tried to take several personal hygiene items from a store on Jefferson Davis Highway without paying.


A trailer carrying a golf cart was reported stolen from Whaley Pond Road in Graniteville on Thursday.


A burglary was reported on McDonald Street in Gloverville on Friday. The owner reported DVDs and knives missing.


Additional burglaries were reported on Audubon Circle in North Augusta, Vaucluse Road in Aiken and Edgefield Highway in Aiken.


A vehicle break-in was reported on Henderson Street in Bath on Thursday. Prescription medication was reported missing.


Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Hampton drive in Warrenville and Old Cherokee Drive in Beech Island.


A burned sedan was found on H&H Street in North Augusta on Thursday.
