The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a vehicle fire that occurred in Warrenville.

Around 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies with the GVW Fire Department responded to Verdery Street where they located the vehicle on fire, officials said.

Witness told deputies that the fire was started by a Molotov cocktail but did not know who had thrown it, according to the report.

A second Molotov cocktail was discovered near another vehicle and was moved before starting another fire, officials said.

If anyone has any information about this case, or any case, investigators encourage them to call the Sheriff’s Office at 803-648-6811 or CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
