According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 23-year-old Wagener woman and a 20-year-old Salley woman were detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after they tried to take socks and underwear from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.
A 16-year-old Aiken boy was detained for shoplifting on Monday after he tried to take a pair of shoes from a store on Fabian Drive without paying.
Two vehicle break-ins were reported at a home on East Rollingwood Road on Monday. The owner reported a cellphone and a charger missing from a vehicle.
A burglary was reported at a home on Fairway Road on Monday. The owner reported a watch and a shotgun missing.
An additional burglary was reported on Vincent Avenue. A television was reported missing.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A North Augusta woman reported on Tuesday that someone has been stealing her identity. The woman told deputies she applied for government assistance and was asked about employment at a hotel in Greenwood. The woman said she had never worked there.
A burglary was reported at a home on Augusta Road in Warrenville on Tuesday. The owner reported jewelry and cosmetics missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Screech Owl Trail in Aiken, Church Street in Aiken, Charles Street in Gloverville and Veterans Road in Springfield.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Tuesday on Dyches Road in Aiken and Cherokee Drive in North Augusta.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville on Tuesday.
