According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A storage shed was reported missing from behind a home on Redd Street on Thursday.

City trash cans were reported missing from Landing Drive and Sandstone Boulevard on Thursday.

A 33-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Friday after he was pulled over on Richland Avenue for speeding. The man smelled of alcohol, exhibited signs of intoxication, and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Beech Island woman reported rocking chairs missing from the porch of her home on Burwick Run.

A burglary was reported at a home on Pine Log Road in Warrenville on Thursday. The owner reported firearms and a radio missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on U.S. 78 in Williston, Beekeeper Place in Aiken, Hill Street in Bath, Swathmore Avenue in North Augusta and NeHolland Road in Wagener.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Edgar Street in Warrenville, Pinecrest Drive in Warrenville, Piney Heights Road in Warrenville, Crystal Springs Road in Graniteville, Edgefield Road in North Augusta and Wagener Road in Salley.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Pine Log Place in Beech Island on Friday.
