According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 55-year-old Evans, Ga., man was detained for driving under the influence on Monday after a caller reported a possible drunken driver. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and was arrested after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

According to reports from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Hephzibah, Ga., man reported on Monday that someone flattened all four of the tires on his vehicle while it was parked on Old Jackson Highway in Beech Island.

A burglary was reported Tuesday on Corley Drive in North Augusta.

An Aiken woman reported on Tuesday that her boyfriend assaulted her when she went to break up with him at a home on Vincent Avenue. She told police her boyfriend grabbed her car door as she was getting in, then grabbed her by the hair and began to strike her in the face. After the woman got into her car, the suspect got into his car and rammed hers with it.
