According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 59-year-old Fairfax man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take several items from a store without paying.

An Aiken woman reported on Wednesday that someone broke the window of her vehicle parked on Whiskey Road while she was at work.

A burglary was reported at a home on Dillon Avenue on Wednesday. The owner reported two cellphones and a gold necklace missing.

An additional burglary was reported on White Marsh Drive on Monday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 53-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after officers found him intoxicated on Augusta Road. The man was reportedly drinking a 40-ounce beer when confronted by officers.

Burglaries were reported on Edgefield Highway in Aiken and Old Tory Road in Aiken.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Myrtle Street in Warrenville on Wednesday. The owner reported the car stereo and speaker wire missing.

An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Sheraton Drive in Beech Island on Wednesday.
