WEDDING: Smith – Drinkwater

Rebecca Anne Drinkwater of Aiken, SC and Jeffrey Lee Smith, II of Greenville, SC were married August 3, 2013 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church. The bride was given in marriage by Donald Drinkwater. The Rev. Kyle Poole officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Donald and Joyce Drinkwater of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of David and Blanche Van Slooten and Ira and Charlotte Vineburg.

The bridegroom is a son of Jeffrey Smith and Elizabeth Miller of Greenville, SC. He is a grandson of Vivi and David Miller and Clayton and Nancy Smith.

Catherine Van Ness Mill of Norfolk, VA was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Andrea Bruner of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; Cassandra Cameron of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; and Kaitlin Babb of Greenville, SC, cousin of the bride.

Jeffrey Smith of Greenville, SC, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were; Matthew Andrews of Greenville, SC, friend of the groom; Bret Parker of Greenville, SC, friend of the groom; and Nathan Drinkwater of Aiken, SC, brother of the bride.

Karen Kral and Callie Marsh of Greenville were the flower girls.

Following a reception at Newberry Hall, the couple left for a wedding trip to Orlando, FL.

They will reside in Aiken.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of homeschool. She is a graduate of USCA with a degree in Exercise Science. She is employed by South Aiken Physical Therapy.

The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of JL Mann. He is a graduate of Greenville Tech with a degree in Criminal Justice.
