According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 34-year-old man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he pushed a shopping cart full of clothing out of a store without paying. The man fled the scene in a silver car when approached by a loss prevention officer, but he was later apprehended during a traffic stop.

A television and a pillow were reported missing from a hotel on Whiskey Road on Wednesday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken man reported on Thursday that someone cut the tires on his vehicle outside his Henry Street home.

A burglary was reported at a home on Hillsboro Drive in Aiken on Thursday. The owner reported a gun missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Sand Bar Ferry Road in Beech Island and Augusta Road in Warrenville.

Vehicles were reported stolen from Lewis Road in Beech Island, Old Apache Lane in Warrenville and Sandy Lane in Aiken.
