According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 45-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after he tried to take a generator and an air compressor from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.
A 38-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Monday after he was seen driving recklessly on Pine Log Road.
Three unknown people fled the scene after trying to shoplift a shopping cart full of merchandise at a Richland Avenue store on Sunday. The individuals left the shopping cart and fled the store in a silver vehicle after being confronted by a store employee.
Vandalism was reported on vending machines at Aiken High School on Friday.
A utility trailer was reported stolen from Lorraine Drive on Monday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Gayle Avenue on Monday.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Deep Run Road in Aiken on Monday. Prescription pills were reported missing.
A television was reported stolen from a home on Poplar Springs Road in Aiken on Monday.
A gun was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Woodland Drive in North Augusta on Monday.
An Aiken woman reported on Monday that someone made an unauthorized transaction on her bank card.
An additional burglary was reported on New Morgan Lane in North Augusta on Monday.
Vehicles were reported stolen from Grace Hurst Road in Gloverville, Wheat Road in Aiken and Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Railroad Street in Warrenville on Monday.
