According to Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An Aiken woman reported on Friday that someone shattered the windshield of her vehicle and scratched an explicit word into the door while parked at Brandt Court.
T & W Motors on York Street reported on Friday that someone shattered a window in the front of the building and broke into a vehicle parked in its lot. A DVD player was stolen from the vehicle and there was damage to the dashboard.
An Aiken woman reported finding the word “kill” scratched into her vehicle on Friday. She was unsure exactly where her vehicle was parked when the incident happened.
Several hundred dollars in roofing materials were reported stolen from a Chesterfield Street home on Saturday.
A pistol was stolen from a vehicle parked on Deerwood Drive on Sunday.
A purse and all its contents were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Richland Avenue Walmart on Sunday.
Beauty Mart Supply on York Street reported on Monday that several thousand dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from the store.
A North Carolina woman reported that someone broke into her vehicle while parked on Frontage Road and stole a camera.
According to Aiken County Sheriff reports:
An Aiken man reported that clothing was stolen from his Kelly Acres Lane home on Sunday.
Shots were fired into the air during a verbal altercation on Washington Road in Aiken on Sunday but nobody was injured.
A suspicious fire was reported in Warrenville Saturday after a vacant home was found in flames on Lee Drive. It was reportedly a foreclosed home.
