According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 57-year-old Graniteville man was arrested for disorderly conduct on Augusta Road in Warrenville on Friday. The responding officer reported that the man was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. There were open containers in the man’s vehicle, and he said he had been drinking.
An Aiken man, who lives on Winthrop Drive, reported on Friday that someone had taken two checks and cashed them without his permission.
A Beech Island woman, who lives on Old Jackson Highway, reported on Friday that someone had made charges to a medical company in California using her Beech Island Credit Union Visa Card.
A vehicle that had been stolen from a Jackson woman was found on Independent Boulevard in Aiken on Friday. The vehicle had been damaged.
An Aiken woman reported on Friday that someone had taken her pocketbook from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at a home on Butler Circle.
A Salley woman reported on Friday that an Aiken man had cut her bed in her home on Honeysuckle Trail following a verbal argument. She said the man told her that he would buy her a new bed, but he didn’t. The woman showed the responding officer photos of the damaged bed on her cellphone.
A Windsor woman reported on Friday that someone had damaged a light post on her property on Colbert Bridge Road.
An Aiken woman, who lives on Horry Street, reported on Friday that someone had removed checks from her checkbook without her permission.
A Beech Island man reported on Friday that someone had removed items from his pocket while he was sleeping at a home on Augusta Road.
A Gloverville man reported on Friday that someone had stolen approximately 100 feet of copper wire from under a residence on Beckham Road in Warrenville.
A Gloverville woman reported on Friday that someone had taken apart the central air conditioner at a home on Myrtle Street and had removed copper pipe.
Burglaries were reported on Friday at homes on Fig Tree Court in North Augusta, Fairview Street in North Augusta and Williamson Drive in Graniteville.
An Aiken woman reported on Friday that someone removed an air conditioning unit from a home on Edgefield Highway.
A Beech Island man reported on Friday that someone broke into his home on Pig Path Lane and stole several televisions, a cellphone, four wristwatches, $300 in cash, a fireproof document safe, a Social Security card and a birth certificate.
A Belvedere woman reported on Friday that someone stole a television, a laptop computer and other items from her home on Rita Court.
A North Charleston man reported on Friday that someone had taken an OtterBox cellphone case that had been shipped accidently to his former residence on Rosin Court in Aiken.
An Aiken man reported on Friday that someone had taken parts from vehicles on his property on Elk Drive.
Two televisions were reported stolen from a home on Festival Trail Drive in Wagener on Friday.
A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that someone driving a small four-door sedan, which was “possibly” burgundy in color, struck his vehicle on the rear bumper while pulling out of a parking lot on Jefferson Davis Highway in Warrenville. The driver of the sedan left the scene.
A Wagener man reported on Saturday that someone removed a lock box containing checks, deeds and certificates of deposit from his home on Old 96 Indian Trail.
A 34-year-old Aiken man was arrested for disorderly conduct outside a home on Tolt Trail on Saturday. The responding officer reported that the man was “unable to stand up and walk straight” and had slurred speech. The officer also reported a strong odor that “appeared to be from alcohol” around the man. The man said he had been “drinking all morning.”
A Warrenville man reported on Saturday that his vehicle had been stolen from Chasity Lane.
A Warrenville man reported on Saturday that someone had thrown two eggs at his home on Railroad Street.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone had shattered the glass back door of her home on Outing Club Road. A Dell desktop computer was missing from the residence.
A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that someone had taken a lawn mower from the carport of his home on Palmetto Avenue.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone had stolen a child’s black Tony Hawk bicycle from the yard of her home on Wheat Road.
