Brooke Elizabeth Cubbage of Aiken and George Thomas Meyers III of Aiken were married on Aug. 3, 2013 at Sacred Heart Cultural Center. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Allan R. Cubbage Jr. and her son Cayden Allan Cubbage. The Rev. Randy Brown officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan R. Cubbage Jr. of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Isabelle Eaddy and the late John W. Eaddy, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Allan R. Cubbage Sr.

The bridegroom is a son of George T. Meyers Jr. and the late Diane Meyers of Aiken. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Heinrich and Mrs. Marian Laher and the late George T. Meyers Sr.

Mary Beth Brookshire of Aiken, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Allison Crow of Aiken, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Corrina Sundstrom of North Augusta, friend of the bride; Brooke Battisto-Wheeler of Aiken, friend of the bride; and Ashton Crow of Aiken, niece of the bride.

Michael Meyers of Aiken, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were George T. Meyers Jr. of Aiken, father of the groom; Larry Heinrich of Aiken, grandfather of the groom; William McCarty of Augusta, friend of the groom; and Adam Woods of Pennsylvania, friend of the groom.

Bryce Sundstrom of North Augusta was the ring bearer.

Alexa Sundstrom of North Augusta was the flower girl.

Following a reception at Sacred Heart Cultural Center, the couple left for a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica. They will reside in Aiken.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of USC with a Master of Communication Disorders. She is employed by the Aiken County School District.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of The Citadel with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
