According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:


A 34-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after he was found laying by his vehicle. The man exhibited signs of intoxication. Officers found an open bottle of whisky inside.


A 46-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after police saw him fall off his bicycle on Fairfield Street. The man exhibited signs of intoxication.


A vehicle break-in was reported on Bonner Street on Wednesday. The owner reported a GPS, a case of CDs, a phone charger and cash missing.


A burglary was reported at a store on University Parkway on Wednesday. The owner reported cash, cigarettes and cigars missing.


According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


An Augusta woman reported on Wednesday that her purse was stolen from her cart while she was shopping at a store on Jefferson Davis Highway in Langley.


An unknown person pumped gas into their car and then fled from a station on Augusta Road in Gloverville on Wednesday.


A vehicle was reported stolen from Edgefield Highway in Aiken on Wednesday.


A burglary was reported on Storm Branch Road in Beech Island on Wednesday. The owner reported shoes, a video game console and a television missing.


An additional burglary was reported on Old Cherokee Drive in Beech Island on Wednesday.
