4 Cats in the Doghouse will play jazz at The Willcox on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare,199 Willow Run Road, will host a several events leading up to Lana-PAW-looza beginning with sidewalk chalk competition for kids ages 6 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a registration fee of $10. A Twilight Walk for Animals will be held at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $25 to participate and includes free admission to Lana-PAW-looza. Lana-Paw-Looza will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight.
