Police blotter for Sept. 15

According to Aiken County Sheriff’s reports:

A Beech Island man reported on Friday that someone broke a window of his vehicle while parked at CCC Road, but nothing appeared missing.

A car was reported missing from an Iroquios Street home in Aiken on Friday.

An Aiken man reported on Friday that someone stole more than $100 of gas from his two vehicles while parked on Montmorenci Road in Aiken.

A North Augusta man reported that tools were stolen from a secured tool box of his vehicle parked on Deerwood Drive on Friday.

Two fires were started on separate properties on Powell Pond Road in Aiken on Friday. One woman reported that someone “set fire to her property down the power line” and later that night, a bale of hay was in flames in a man’s back yard.

An Aiken man reported his mailbox stolen from his Powell Pond Road home on Friday.
