The Old Storm Branch Baptist Church of Clearwater will hold a Community Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the church’s Family Life Center. The health fair will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m. The fair will have area medical providers speaking on diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, colon health, gout and prostate health.

The North Augusta Baptist Church

North Augusta Baptist Church will celebrate its Homecoming Day on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. The Rev. George Brightharp, pastor of the Mt. Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry

Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry will hold their Annual Fall Revival Sept. 24 through 26 at 7 p.m. nightly.

The following ministers will serve as revivalists: The Rev. Roscoe Perry will be the revivalist on Tuesday; the Rev. Eddie Freeman will be the revivalist on Wednesday; and the Rev. Delbert Nero will be the revivalist on Thursday. The Rev. Bobby G. Hankerson is the pastor.

Sunday school meets at First Providence

Holy Trinity to offer grief sessions

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1002 Carolina Ave., North Augusta, is holding a series on dealing with grief throughout September, each Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Chaplain Richard Boland of Infinity Hospice will be conducting this series. Sessions will cover: What is grief? (different kinds of grief and grief not related to death); How Do I Know if I’m Grieving? (signs and symptoms of grief); How do I work through my grief?; What does the Bible say about grief?; What is the role of a Christian in grief?; and Where is God in grief? New Light to hold Tuesday Bible study
