According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

Two 14-year-old girls were detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after fighting at Aiken High School.

Three women were charged with shoplifting on Tuesday after they tried to steal items from a store on Whiskey Road by concealing them in their purses.

A 71-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take a bag of frozen shrimp from a store by concealing it inside his pants.

A 52-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Wednesday after he was seen speeding on University Parkway. The man smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A burglary was reported at a home on Pine Log Road on Tuesday. A television, antiques and tools were reported missing.

An additional burglary was reported on Abbeville Avenue on Tuesday. The owner reported a TV missing.

An Aiken man reported a lawn mower stolen from his home on Aldrich Street on Tuesday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A burglary was reported on Wormrath Road in North Augusta on Tuesday. Knives, swords and skulls were reported missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Ruby Street in Warrenville on Tuesday.
