WARRENVILLE, S.C. – Mrs. Ella Beatrice Wingard, 88, of Warrenville, SC, wife of the late Douglas E. Wingard, entered into rest on Friday, September 6th, 2013. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Gladys Johnson Richardson. She was affectionately known by many as the “Avon Lady”. She absolutely loved flowers and enjoyed painting. Mrs. Wingard was a member of the former New Testament Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Janis (J.B.) Jennings, Warrenville, SC, the late Paula Saxon and John (Sheryl) Argo, Warrenville, SC; a sister, Nellie Riddle, Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Michael Jennings, Sherry Munns, Terry Miller, Louanne Rzaca, Tony Argo and Kristle Banks; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 8th, 2013, at 3 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Stanley Wingard and Pastor Billy Ray Wingard officiating. Interment will follow in the Aiken Memorial Gardens, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Tony Argo, Danny Banks, Terry Miller, Justin Miller, Matt Clary and Steven Leady. It has been requested by the family, if so desired, memorials in memory of Mrs. Wingard be made to the charity of choice. Friends will be greeted by the family on Sunday from 1:30 until the time of service at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, U.S. #1, Langley, SC.
