PETTICOAT JUNCTION — The Silver Bluff High School varsity football team relied heavily on its ground attack Friday night as the Bulldogs racked up 344 rushing yards and scored all five of their touchdowns on the ground en route to an easy 34-0 win over Southside Christian High School. In the last two games between the programs, Silver Bluff has out-scored the Sabres 94-7 including last season's 60-7 thrashing.

WAGENER — The Pelion Panthers poured onto the field after Wagener-Salley quarterback Malcolm Stroman's last-second prayer went unanswered, having just capped a comeback that saw Pelion score the game's final 17 points en route to a 30-27 road victory on Friday night.

WILLISTON — Williston Elko's Faheem Richburg was all over the field Friday night. The senior receiver and defensive back was a spark plug for many of the Blue Devils' big plays as Williston Elko picked up its first win of the season in a 30-9 blowout of Barnwell.
