According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 31-year-old Aiken man and a 32-year-old Aiken woman were detained for drug charges on Wednesday after officers executed a search warrant on his Maurice Terrace Home, finding at least 28 grams of marijuana, cigar wrappers, two digital scales, two handguns, two cellphones and ammunition.

A 13-year-old Elloree girl was detained for shoplifting on Saturday after she tried to take two packs of earrings from a store in Aiken Mall.

A 21-year-old Warrenville man was detained for DUI on Thursday after officers saw him weaving in and out of his lane on Richland Avenue. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

An Aiken man reported on Tuesday that someone made multiple unauthorized transactions on his bank card.

A motorcycle was reported stolen from Cherokee Street on Wednesday.

Gunshots were reported about 10 p.m. on Wednesday on Laurens Street. Officers patrolled the area but couldn’t find any evidence of shots fired, and the complainant would not leave their name.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a home on Newberry Street on Wednesday caused by a sensor being triggered.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 24-year-old Warrenville woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she tried to take items from a store on Jefferson Davis Highway in Langley without paying.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Bradleyville Road in North Augusta on Wednesday. The owner reported a stereo and speakers missing, as well as damage to the vehicle paint and windows.

An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Easy Street in Bath on Wednesday. A purse was reported missing.

A burglary was reported at a home on Dogwood Drive in North Augusta on Wednesday. The owner reported two laptops missing.

An additional burglary was reported on Old Powderhouse Road in Aiken on Tuesday. Cash was reported missing.

Two welders were reported missing from a business on Old Vaucluse Road in Graniteville on Wednesday.
