The City of Aiken’s Fifth Annual Hard Labor Day BBQ Cook-Off will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. The menu will feature spare ribs, Boston butts, baked beans and slaw. Auditions for Bound to Sing, Aiken’s county-wide boy’s choir, will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m. in the choir room of Aiken’s First Baptist Church. Boys in fourth through seventh grade with unchanged voices, a good ear for music and desire to sing are invited. Choir tuition is $50 per semester.
