According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Graniteville woman reported on Saturday that a black male in a silver SUV fired three shots and hit her vehicle once on Kalmia Apartments Drive. There was a bullet hole in the back left quarter panel of the vehicle.

A North Augusta woman returned from an overnight trip and reported on Saturday that all of her vehicle’s windows had been broken. There also were several dents in the vehicle, which was parked outside a house on Lamback Way.

A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that someone had taken a moped from the front yard of his home on Edgewood Drive.

A 16-year-old Graniteville male reported on Saturday that someone had damaged a vehicle he was driving after it got stuck on what he thought was a dirt road off Whitehall Road in North Augusta. He left the vehicle overnight, and, when he returned, he found that all the windows had been broken. The side mirrors also had been broken off, and there were dents “all around” the vehicle.

A 19-year-old male from Hampton was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and having an open bottle of vodka in his vehicle on Saturday in an area near Jefferson Davis Highway and Sudlow Lake Road in Langley. The responding officer observed the vehicle swerving before making a traffic stop. The subject failed multiple field sobriety tests. He admitted to having marijuana in his possession and a bottle of vodka in the vehicle. After being taken to the Aiken County Detention Center, the subject provided a breath sample that yielded a reading of 0.15.

An Augusta man reported on Saturday that someone broke into multiple vehicles in a parking lot at the Kimberly-Clark Corporation on Old Jackson Highway in Beech Island.

A Graniteville man reported on Saturday that his home on Laurel Avenue had been broken into and that multiple items, including a television, were missing. He also said that there was blood on the sheets on his bed. Video cameras that had recorded the incident showed three subjects. According to the responding officer, one entered the residence and one appeared to be the lookout. A silver minivan seen by the officer appeared to be the getaway vehicle.

A Beech Island woman reported on Saturday that someone broke the front passenger side window of her vehicle that was parked outside her residence on Edisto Avenue.

A Beech Island man reported on Saturday that someone entered his house on Toole Circle through a dog door inside the garage and took a Savage bolt action .30-06 rifle, a 20 gauge pump shotgun, a 12 gauge pump shotgun and three boxes of .30-06 ammunition. A Saturn VUE SUV also was missing.

A Wagener woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Saturday on Dougherty Road near Tyler Street in Aiken. According to the responding officer, there was “a strong odor of alcoholic beverage about the subject’s breath and person” and she couldn’t stand without assistance. A small black bag containing drug paraphernalia was found in her purse.

A white male fled the scene after wrecking a vehicle after it had turned off Jefferson Davis Highway in the Clearwater area. The vehicle belonged to a North Augusta man who reported that it had been stolen while he was working in Evans, Ga.

A North Augusta man was detained after several reports that he had been walking in the road on Beech Island Avenue in Beech Island on Saturday. According to the responding officer, the man had “bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and had a hard time standing up.” The man said he had drunk “at least 12 beers.”

A man working at Sprint Foods on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater reported on Saturday that a white male had taken a cellphone charger off a rack and put it down the front of his pants. The subject then fled the scene in a vehicle. The complainant gave the vehicle’s license plate number to the responding officer.

A Bath woman reported being struck by a bullet while she was in her home on Wall Street on Saturday. She said that when her son pulled out a desk drawer, the drawer and a gun in it fell to the floor. When the gun hit the floor, it “went off,” according to the woman. A bullet hit the woman in her left knee and exited through the back of her leg. The woman’s son confirmed her story.

A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that a house on Rainbow Falls Road in North Augusta had been broken into and that a shotgun and a box of change that was on a dresser in the bedroom were missing. The man said he was watching the house for its owner, who was out of town.
