According to reports from the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A man driving a pickup struck a support pillar for a drive-thru restaurant on Whiskey Road on Tuesday and fled. The driver reportedly caused $2,500 damage.

An unknown man took a bottle of vodka from a store on Kings Grant Drive without paying on Tuesday.

A burglary was reported at a home on George Street on Tuesday. The owner reported a television missing.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Tuesday on Aberdeen Drive and University Parkway.

According to reports from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 39-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Wednesday after he was pulled over on Highway 1 at Cherokee Drive in Clearwater for driving with his headlights off.

A unknown woman on Tuesday took candy from a store on Sand Bar Ferry Road in Beech Island without paying.

A burglary was reported at a home on McNair Drive in North Augusta on Tuesday. A firearm was reported missing. An additional burglary was reported on Jefferson Davis Highway in Warrenville on Tuesday. Nothing was reported missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Beaver Creek Lane in Aiken on Tuesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Wagener Road in Wagener on Tuesday.
