Crime blotter for Aug. 16

According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An Aiken man reported an air conditioner unit missing from his home on Greenville Street on Wednesday.

A Monetta man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he allegedly tried to take a baby play pin and a package of toys from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A burglary was reported at a home on Schley Street in Warrenville on Wednesday. The owner reported a welder, a window air conditioner unit and a hunting bow missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Piney Heights Road in Warrenville, North Street in Aiken, Partridge Bend Road in Aiken, Holiness Church Road in Wagener, North Silverton Street in Jackson, Yellow Brick Road in Windsor and Pine Log Road in Warrenville.
