According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 17-year-old Ridge Spring man was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after he allegedly tried to take items from a store on Fabian Drive.
A Gloverville man and a North Augusta woman were detained for shoplifting on Thursday after they allegedly tried to take items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying. The man was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 35-year-old Aiken woman was assaulted by a man who was arguing with her sister on Thursday. The woman said she put herself between the two to separate them and the man punched her.
Two unknown people left a restaurant on Richland Avenue on Thursday without paying their bill.
A burglary was reported at a home on Laurens Street on Thursday. A video game system, games, dishes, a piggy bank and shoes were reported missing.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Robinhood Trail in Aiken on Wednesday. The owner reported electronics, money and firearms missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Redcliffe Road, Old Nail Road and Church Road in Beech Island.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Lundee Drive in Aiken on Thursday.
An Aiken woman reported on Friday that someone entered her vehicle on Lundee Drive and took a GPS device.
