According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 20-year-old Asheville, N.C., woman was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after she allegedly tried to take three CDs and bottles of vitamins from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

A 75-year-old Aiken woman reported damage to her vehicle, including a flat tire, after she drove through a pothole on Silver Bluff Road on Wednesday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A vehicle break-in was reported on Old Ninety Six Indian Trail in Aiken on Thursday.

The victim reported a wallet and prescription medication missing and that the tires on his vehicle had been slashed.

Vandalism was reported on some vending machines outside a business on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater on Thursday.

A burglary was reported Thursday on Cushman Drive in Aiken.

A burglary was reported on Horseshoe Bend Road in Aiken.
