Letter: Carlton shows professionalism

The article in the Standard on July 15 nudged me to do something that I have often thought about, but never followed through with, and that is to say thanks to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton and his staff. As a pastor, I have often been on scene with your team and have been amazed at not only their professionalism, but also their compassion. I know this was Sue Townsend’s vision and passion and you are doing a great job leading and continuing the excellent service that means so much to people in crisis. I also appreciate your recent help with the Ward family.

On behalf of the people of Cedar Creek Church and the Aiken community, thank you and your team for all of the hard work, long hours and dedicated service. It has not gone unnoticed! If there is anything that I can ever do you or your team. Don’t hesitate to ask.

Phillip Lee
