According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 16-year-old boy was placed on trespass notice for a store on Whiskey Road on Wednesday after he allegedly tried to take a DVD without paying.

Two vehicle break-ins were reported on Carolina Drive on Wednesday. A radar and golf clubs were reported missing.

An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Banks Mill Road on Saturday. The owner reported a purse missing.

An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone in a white truck struck his mailbox on Englewood Road.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An 18-year-old North Augusta man was detained for DUI on Wednesday after he was pulled over on U.S. 1 in Burnettown. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A burglary was reported at a home on University Lane in Aiken on Wednesday. The owner reported that someone disabled the home’s alarm system. Guns were reported missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Horseshoe Bend Road in Aiken on Wednesday and Lion Loop in Batesburg on Wednesday.

Officers responded to an alarm cause by an open door at a restaurant on Whiskey Road in Aiken on Wednesday.

Three vehicle break-ins were reported on East Martintown Road in North Augusta on Wednesday. A purse was reported missing from each vehicle.

A North Augusta woman reported on Wednesday that someone took several pieces of jewelry from her Sudlow Lake Road home.
