Gordon earns gold medal in FCCLA event

Molly Gordon, a rising sophomore at Aiken High, attended the 2013 FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn., held July 6 through 11. Gordon competed in the Career Investigation STAR Event, earning a gold medal with a score of 97.67. She investigated the career of executive chef, and is a student in Aiken High’s Culinary Arts program. FCCLA is a national career and technology student organization emphasizing family, careers, community service and student leadership.
