Dr. Sabrina Suber Vereen graduated with a doctorate in health administration and leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Health Professions in the 184th commencement ceremony held on May 17. While at MUSC, Vereen received the Dean’s Award and was recognized as a co-author of a peer-reviewed publication in patient-centered care. She is a 1994 honor graduate of Aiken High School and received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida A&M University and master’s degrees in health administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University.
Vereen plans to continue her career in academia in the Durham-Chapel Hill, N.C., area where she currently resides with her husband and two children. She is the daughter of Calvin and Mary Suber of Aiken.
