According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An Augusta man was charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent on Tuesday after he allegedly took money from the cash drawer of the Whiskey Road restaurant where he works between March and July.
A burglary was reported at a home on Laurel Ridge Circle on Monday. The owner reported a television and a Mercedes SUV missing.
A burglary was reported at a business on East Gate Drive on Monday. An unknown person was captured on surveillance video entering the store through a back door and taking money from the cash register. The suspect was an employee of the store who denied involvement in the theft.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Mayfield Road in Aiken on Monday. The owner reported that someone entered the unoccupied home and took metal wiring from the home.
A burglary was reported at a home on Nicholson Drive in Aiken on Monday.
Two vehicle break-ins were reported on Parker Drive in Beech Island on Monday. The owners reported electronics and a purse missing.
