WEDDING: Booth – Timmerman

Kara Eliazbeth Timmerman and Alexander Jacob Booth were married on July 13, 2013 in the Surfside Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Rev. Justin Woodall officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Daniel Timmerman of North Augusta, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Penner of Edgefield, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tidwell Timmerman and Mr. Melvin Strickland Shaffer and Mrs. Nell Shaffer, all of Edgefield, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Elba Booth II of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Elba Booth of Galveston, TX and Ms. Joyce Cushing of Myrtle Beach.

Samantha Timmerman, sister of the bride, from Charleston, S.C. was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Christie of Edgefield, S.C., Jessica Posey of Alabaster, AL, Rebekah Booth of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Susan Nazimeck of Woodbridge, N.J. and Selley Garrett of Charleston, S.C.

Mr. James Booth was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Herring of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Billy Johns of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Matthew Berger of Charleston, S.C., Tom Shanks of Denver, CO and Camp Melton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Ring Bearer was Mr. Conner Woodall of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Flower Girl was Miss Elizabeth Caroline Enloe, 2nd Cousin of the bride, from Edgefield, S.C.

The bride is a Graduate from Strom Thurmond High School and Coastal Carolina with a B.S. degree in Health Promotion. She is employed by Christian Academy, Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The groom is a Graduate of Socastee High School and Coastal Carolina with a B.A. degree in Middle Grades Education. He is employed by Myrtle Beach School System.

Following a reception at the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort, Pawley’s Island, the couple left for a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean.

They will reside in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
