ANNIVERSARY: Fellers celebrate 65 years of marriage

Eugene and Elouise Fellers celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 22.

Eugene and Elouise Fellers of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Greenwich, New York, were married on June 22, 1948, at the Baldwin Wallace College Chapel in Berea, Ohio. Both Eugene and Elouise attended Baldwin Wallace College, where Eugene was a college German language instructor and Elouise was a music major.

In honor of their 65th wedding anniversary, family and friends from New York, Ohio, California, Florida and Georgia attended the festivities at the Kalmia Landing Clubhouse on June 22 in Aiken.

The special gathering included their two daughters and spouses, Susan and Robert Dick of Aiken, and Gretchen and Roger Whiting of Granville, New York. The couple’s three granddaughters, Nicole Whiting, Sarah Whiting and Jennifer Goff, as well as great-grandson, Logan Goff, were in attendance.
