Police blotter for July 14

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Warrenville man reported on Friday that his car had been vandalized while parked on Daisy Drive. Upon arrival, the responding officer noted that the car cover had slash marks, and that the windshield wiper blades had been broken.

A Beech Island woman reported on Friday that her home on Cary Drive had been vandalized. Responding officer reported that glass on the front door was broken.

A Graniteville man reported a larceny on Friday on Bristol Drive. The victim stated that his 4-by-8 red utility trailer with plywood sides was stolen.

A North Augusta man reported Friday that he met another man at an unknown location in North Augusta to collect money that was owed to him. The man stated that a verbal dispute turned into a fight in which several others jumped in and began kicking and punching him, causing injury to his left eye and ear. The man got back into his car and called 911.

An Aiken man reported a robbery and vandalism on Friday at a Powerhouse Road location. The victim stated that copper had been stripped out of one of his units.
